He serves on the Posey County Sheriff's Merit Board and the Soldiers and Sailors Coliseum board, has been a three-term president of Mount Vernon Kiwanis and a precinct committeeman for more than 16 years, and formerly served on the Lynn Township Advisory Board. He served 24 years in the Navy and reserves, including two post-9/11 recalls, and holds an MBA from Oakland City University.
