Background
He is in his third two-year term as commissioner for SMD 3/4G06. A former Boston Globe Spotlight Team member, Los Angeles Times national correspondent and ProPublica reporter, he was chief speechwriter for the Treasury secretary during the 2008–09 financial crisis and served on the first Affordable Care Act implementation team.
