Judge of the Court of Appeals since Gov. Andy Beshear appointed him in April 2025 to the seat Pamela R. Goodwine left when she joined the Supreme Court. He was a federal prosecutor with the U.S. Department of Justice from 2014 to 2025 and is a Navy Reserve captain who flew F-18 combat missions during Operation Iraqi Freedom.
