Are you for or against the Logan County Board of Education levying a tax of five and nine-tenths cents ($0.059) on each one hundred dollars ($100.00) of the assessed value of real and personal property in order to provide adequate funding for safe, up-to-date school buildings that meet state standards?
A “Yes” vote means
A vote FOR supports the Logan County Board of Education levying a property tax of 5.9 cents per $100 of assessed real and personal property value to fund school buildings.
A “No” vote means
A vote AGAINST opposes the Logan County Board of Education levying this 5.9-cent-per-$100 property tax for school buildings.
On the ballots of the Logan County School District's precincts (the county sample ballot lists it for District 4, 5 and 5A and part of District 1, 2, 3, 3A and 6; the rest is the Russellville Independent School District). Answered FOR or AGAINST. No official explanatory statement is printed on the ballot. The board approved the tax in November 2025; it is projected to raise about $1.1 million a year, and the district has identified about $61 million in building needs (News-Democrat & Leader, Sept. 24, 2026).
