The question, as printed on the ballot
Are you in favor of the sale of alcoholic beverages in the city of Sacramento?
A “Yes” vote means
A YES vote is in favor of allowing the sale of alcoholic beverages in the City of Sacramento.
A “No” vote means
A NO vote is against allowing the sale of alcoholic beverages in the City of Sacramento.
A city local option question. The county sample ballot lists it for "part of Sacramento" precinct (the city). No official explanatory statement is printed on the ballot. Voters in the Sacramento precinct approved alcohol sales in November 2024, but the state Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control ruled that the question had to cover the city, not the precinct, so the vote must be held again (Messenger-Inquirer, March 2025).
