Shall the Representative from this District be instructed to vote in favor of legislation or rules to reduce the House Speaker’s and Senate President’s control over state legislators’ stipends (extra pay) and to provide stipends only to legislators who do significant extra work that is transparent and accountable to the public?
A “Yes” vote means
Advises the district's state representative to vote to reduce the Speaker's and Senate President's control over legislators' stipends and tie stipends to significant extra work. Advisory only.
A “No” vote means
Advises against instructing the district's state representative to vote for these changes to legislative stipends. Advisory only; it does not change any law.
