The question, as printed on the ballot
Shall an expiring millage in property taxes of .497 mill, reduced to .4826 mill by required rollback, be increased and renewed for five years, 2-027 through 2031, inclusive, in the amount of .497 mill ($0.497 per thousand dollars of taxable valuation), for all property in the Township, above the 15 mill tax limitation imposed by Section 6 of Article IX of the Michigan Constitution, to provide a fund for police protection in the Township; and shall the Township be authorized to levy the tax? The estimated revenue the Township will collect if the millage is approved and levied in the 2027 calendar year is approximately $108,282.47.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote renews Fillmore Township's police protection millage for 2027–2031 and restores it to 0.497 mill.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the renewal.
