The question, as printed on the ballot
Shall an expiring millage in property taxes of 3.052 mills, reduced to 2.9464 mills by required rollback, be increased and renewed for five years, 2027 through 2031, inclusive, in the amount of 3.052 mills ($3.052 per thousand dollars of taxable valuation), for all property in the Township, above the 15 mill tax limitation imposed by Section 6 of Article IX of the Michigan Constitution, to provide a fund for the repair and maintenance of local Township roads; and shall the Township be authorized to levy the tax? The estimated revenue the Township will collect if the millage is approved and levied in the 2027 calendar year is approximately $664,945.85.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote renews Fillmore Township's road repair and maintenance millage for 2027–2031 and restores it to 3.052 mills.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the renewal.
