Shall the Township of Long Rapids, County of Alpena, Michigan, impose a tax of one mill for a period of 10 years for the purpose of funding the cost of maintaining and equipping the Long Rapids Township Fire Department and Emergency Response First Responder services? The estimated revenue of one mill ($1.00 per $1000.00 of taxable value) to be levied in 2027 is $48,089.53.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote approves a 1-mill property tax for 10 years to maintain and equip the township fire department and first responder services (about $48,090 in 2027).
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the tax.
