Shall Berrien Township impose an increase of up to 7/8 mill ($0.875 per $1,000 of taxable value) in the tax limitation imposed under Article IX, Sec. 6 of the Michigan Constitution and levy it for four years, 2027 through 2030 inclusive, for road maintenance, repair and construction, raising an estimated $200,672.00 in the first year the millage is levied? This millage will replace the current road assessment for road maintenance, repair and construction which will expire in 2026.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote authorizes up to 0.875 mill for four years (2027–2030) for road maintenance, repair and construction, replacing the current road assessment.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the road millage.
