The question, as printed on the ballot
In support of Public Safety Services, including Fire, Police and Ambulance Services, shall the City of Coloma be authorized to levy a new city-wide millage, totaling 1.0 mills ($1.00 per each $1,000.00 of taxable value), against all taxable valuation of property in the City of Coloma liable for taxation, and levied for a period of 20 years, 2026 through 2045 inclusive, for the purpose of supporting Public Safety Services in the City of Coloma, raising an estimated $45,765 in the first year the millage is levied.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote authorizes a new 1-mill citywide levy for 20 years (2026–2045) for fire, police and ambulance services; about $45,765 the first year.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the new public safety millage.
