The question, as printed on the ballot
It is proposed that the City of Niles Code of Ordinances, Section 54-534(a)(1) be amended to add the following the language:(b) Notwithstanding 54-534(a)(1)(a), a maximum of five marihuana retailers as defined in MCL 333.27953(q) are permitted in the city. Should this proposed amendment be adopted?
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote amends the city code to allow at most five marijuana retailers in the city.
A “No” vote means
A no vote leaves the city code unchanged.
