(This proposal, if allowed by the voters, will permit HULBERT TOWNSHIP to fund General Operations and will renew the millage previously approved for General Operation in 2026 which expires with the 2030 levy.) Shall the previously voted increase in the 15 mill limitation imposed under Article IX, Section 6 of Michigan Constitution for general ad valorem taxes within Hulbert Township, Michigan of 3 mills which has been reduced to 2.7378 mills by the required millage rollbacks, be renewed at 2.7378 mills, ($2.7378 per $1,000 of taxable value) for a period of 5 years, being 2026, 2027, 2028, 2029 and 2030 inclusive, for the purpose of providing funds for General Operating Expenses ( this being a renewal of General Operating Expenses millage which requires with the 2030 levy), within the Township raising an estimated $36,000 in the first year it is levied?
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote renews Hulbert Township's general operating millage at 2.7378 mills for 2026–2030.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the renewal.
