The question, as printed on the ballot
Shall the previous voted increase in the tax limitation imposed under Article IX, section 6 of the Michigan Constitution on general ad valorem taxes within Rudyard Township, Chippewa County, Michigan, of 2.0 mills ($2.00 per $1,000.00 of taxable value), reduced to 1.9874 mills ($ 1.9874 per $1,000.00 of taxable value) by the required millage rollbacks, be renewed at the original voted 2.0 mills ($2.00 per $1,000.00 of taxable value) and levied for four (4) years, 2027 through 2030 inclusive, for the purpose of providing funds to be used by the Township for road improvement, maintenance and upgrading, and other road related expenses within said Township and shall said Township levy such renewal millage, or any portion thereof, for such purposes, which millage if fully levied, will raise in the first year of said levy an estimated $126,844.00?
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote renews Rudyard Township's road millage at the original 2 mills for 2027–2030 for road improvement, maintenance and upgrading.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the renewal.
