Shall Lincoln Township impose an increase of up to .35 mills ($0.35 per $1000 of taxable value), in the tax limitation imposed under article IX, Sec. 6 of the Michigan Constitution and levy it for 5 years, 2026 through 2030 inclusive, for the purpose of providing funds for the operation, maintenance, equipment, apparatus, training and capital improvements of the Lincoln Township Fire department, raising an estimated $46,604.91 in the first year. Should this millage increase be approved?
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote approves up to 0.35 mill for 5 years (2026–2030) for the Lincoln Township Fire Department's operations, equipment and training, about $46,605 in the first year.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the fire and rescue millage.
