Shall the previous voted increase in the tax limitation on general ad valorem taxes within Cornell Township, Delta County, imposed under Article IX, Sec. 6 of the Michigan Constitution, be renewed at 1 mill ($1.00 per $1,000 of taxable value) for a period of 10 years, 2028 to 2037 inclusive, for the purpose of operations, maintenance, building, updating equipment, including personnel protective equipment, and training of firemen?The estimated revenue generated from the 1.0 mills that will be collected in the first year that the millage is authorized and levied will be $ 30,871.72.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote renews a 1-mill Cornell Township levy for 10 years (2028–2037) for fire department operations, equipment and firefighter training.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the renewal.
