The question, as printed on the ballot

Shall the previously authorized increase in tax limitation on all taxable property in Littlefield Township, Emmet County, that expired in 2025 be renewed and the Township be authorized to levy annually an amount not to exceed .3322 mill ($0.3322 per each $1,000 of taxable value) against all taxable property in the Township for a period of four (4) years, 2026 through 2029, inclusive, to provide funds for operating, maintaining, equipping, and funding the Alanson Area Public Library and for all other library purposes authorized by law? The estimate of the revenue the Township will collect if the millage is approved and levied in the first year of levy (2026) is approximately $68,000. Revenue from this millage levy will be disbursed to the Alanson Area Public Library.

A “Yes” vote means

A yes vote renews a property tax of up to 0.3322 mill for four years (2026–2029) to fund the Alanson Area Public Library.

A “No” vote means

A no vote rejects the renewal.
