Shall Atlas Township re-establish the millage of up to .125 mills ($.125 per $1,000 of taxable value) in the tax limitation imposed under Article IX, Sec. 6 of the Michigan Constitution, that expired in 2023, for a period of ten (10) years beginning in 2026 and ending in 2035. to fund the construction, development, improvement and maintenance of recreational trails within the township which will raise an estimated $ 59,067.72 in the first year the millage is levied?
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote re-establishes a township tax of up to 0.125 mill for 2026–2035 to build, improve and maintain recreational trails.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the trails millage.
