The question, as printed on the ballot
Shall Section 6.5 of the Charter be amended to state that officers are qualified and assume the duties of their office at 6:00 p.m. on the second Monday in January following each regular City election, apply prospectively only for any public official elected in or after November of 2028? This shall not change the length of term for any current official.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote has officers elected in or after November 2028 take office at 6 p.m. on the second Monday in January after the election.
A “No” vote means
A no vote keeps Section 6.5 as it is.
