The question, as printed on the ballot
Shall Section 7-201(A) of the Charter of the City of Flint be amended to renew the existing millage of 0.4963 mill ($0.4963 per $1,000.00) on the taxable valuation as finally equalized of all real and personal property in the City of Flint, from January 1, 2027, through December 31, 2036, for the purpose of funding a city-wide parks, forestry, and recreation program? It is estimated that 0.4963 mill would raise approximately $544,151.00 in the first year of renewal.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote amends the charter to renew a 0.4963-mill tax for 2027–2036 for a city-wide parks, forestry and recreation program.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the renewal.
