The question, as printed on the ballot
Shall Section 7-201(A) of the Charter of the City of Flint be amended to renew the existing millage of 0.5956 mills ($0.5956 per $1,000.00) on the taxable valuation as finally equalized of all real and personal property in the City of Flint, from July 1, 2027, through June 30, 2033, for the sole purpose of funding public transportation services in the City of Flint by the Flint Mass Transportation Authority (MTA)? It is estimated that 0.5956 mills would raise approximately $653,025.00 in the first year of renewal.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote amends the charter to renew a 0.5956-mill tax from July 2027 to June 2033 for Flint Mass Transportation Authority services in the city.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the renewal.
