This special assessment for all parcels of land within the Charter Township of Mundy is for fire protection services, as allowed by law. Shall the Charter Township of Mundy impose an annual special assessment of up to Thirty Dollars ($30.00) upon each real parcel within the Township that is not exempt from property taxes and each lot within a registered mobile/manufactured home community within the Township for a period of five (5) years, 2027 through 2031, inclusive, to provide funding to equip, maintain, and operate Township wide fire protection services? If approved and fully levied, the revenue from this special assessment collected in the first year is estimated to be Two Hundred Ten Thousand Three Hundred Sixty Dollars ($210,360).
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote approves an annual assessment of up to $30 per taxable parcel and mobile home lot for 2027–2031 for township fire protection.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the assessment.
