Shall the Township of Billings, Gladwin County, Michigan, renew the increase on the limitation on the total amount of general ad valorem taxes which may be imposed for all purposes upon real and personal property in the Township, as provided in Article 9, Section 6, of the Michigan Constitution of 1963, as amended, by sixty-five hundredths (0.65) of a mill ($0.65 per $1,000.00) of taxable valuation as finally equalized, for a period of six (6) years (2027 through 2032, inclusive), which levy would provide estimated revenues to the Township of $81,557.68 in its first year if approved and levied, for the purpose of reducing and controlling the mosquito population within the Township?
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote renews 0.65 mill for 6 years (2027–2032) to reduce and control mosquitoes in the township, about $81,558 in the first year.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the renewal of the mosquito control millage.
