The question, as printed on the ballot
Shall the limitation on the amount of taxes imposed under Article IX, Section 6 of the Michigan Constitution be increased on all taxable Real Property in Pittsford Township, Hillsdale County, Michigan, in the amount of one (1) mill ($1.00 per $1,000.00 of taxable valuation) for the period of five (5) years, 2026 to 2030 inclusive, for the purpose of maintaining and improving roads within the Township; and shall the Township levy such millage for this purpose during such period which will raise in the first year an estimated $62,177.54?
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote levies a new 1 mill on real property for 2026–2030 to maintain and improve township roads; estimated $62,177 in the first year.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the new road millage.
