Shall Winsor Township increase the tax rate limitation imposed under Article IX, Section 6 of the Michigan Constitution and levy a new additional millage of 1.0 mills ($1.00 per $1,000 of taxable value) on taxable property within Winsor Township annually for four (4) years, 2026 through 2029, inclusive, for the purposes of funding fire protection and emergency services in the Township, including contracting for emergency medical response services and paying operating and capital expenses of the Winsor Township Fire Department? If approved and levied, this millage would raise an estimated $197,505 in the first year of the levy.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote authorizes a new 1-mill township tax for 2026–2029 for fire protection and emergency services, including the township fire department.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the new millage.
