The question, as printed on the ballot
For the purposes of providing fire protection and emergency medical services in the Charter Township of Delhi, Ingham County, Michigan, shall there be a renewal of the previously authorized millage which, after being reduced to 1.47190 mills ($1.47190 per $1,000 of taxable value) by required millage rollbacks, would be renewed and levied at the original voted rate of 1.5 mills ($1.50 per $1,000 of taxable value) for a period of eight (8) years, 2026 through 2033 inclusive? It is estimated that approximately $1,748,830 will be collected in the first year. All millage funds shall be subject to an independent yearly audit and be reported on a public website.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote renews the fire and emergency medical services millage at its original 1.5 mills for 2026–2033, about $1.75 million in the first year.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the renewal of the fire and EMS millage.
