To enhance the processing and administration of City contracts and address situations of absences or unavailability of the City Attorney or the City’s Chief Financial Officer City, shall Section 15.3 of the East Lansing City Charter be amended to allow designees of the City Attorney and Chief Financial Officer to approve contracts and certify funds for contracts?
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote amends the charter to let designees of the City Attorney and Chief Financial Officer approve contracts and certify funds for them.
A “No” vote means
A no vote keeps Section 15.3 of the charter as it is.
