Shall Alabaster-Township impose an increase of up to 0.500 mills ($0.50 per $1,000 of taxable value) in the tax limitation imposed under Article IX, Sec 6 of the Michigan Constitution and levy it for 5 years, 2027 through 2031 inclusive, to provide police protection and other public safety measures, which 0.500 mills increase will raise an estimated $34,500.00 in the first year the millage is levied.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote approves a new tax of up to 0.5 mill for five years (2027–2031) for police protection and other public safety measures.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the tax.
