The question, as printed on the ballot
Shall the total tax rate limitation on general ad valorem taxes in the Village of Lake Isabella be increased by up to 0.40 mills ($0.40 per $1,000 of taxable value) for the purposes of providing funds for law enforcement, police protection, road patrol, ordinance enforcement, animal control enforcement, and related public safety services within the Village, and shall the Village be authorized to levy this new additional millage annually for four (4) years, 2027 through 2030, inclusive, thereby raising an estimated $49,529 in the first year of the levy?
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote approves a new tax of up to 0.40 mill for 4 years (2027–2030) for law enforcement, ordinance and animal control enforcement, about $49,529 in the first year.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the new public safety millage.
