The question, as printed on the ballot
“Shall Luce County continue to levy 1 mill ($1.00 on each $1,000 of taxable valuation) as reduced by headlee to fund two sheriff’s deputies and their necessary equipment such that Luce County will continue to have full time patrols, estimated to provide $244,762 in the first year of the levy, for a period of three years beginning tax year 2028, 2029, 2030 inclusive?” If approved this would be a renewal of a previously approved authorized millage.”
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote renews Luce County's 1-mill levy for 2028–2030 to fund two sheriff's deputies and their equipment.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the renewal.
