Shall the previously voted increase in the tax limitation imposed under Article IX, Section 6 of the Michigan Constitution on general ad valorem taxes within MACKINAC COUNTY, MICHIGAN of .50 mill ($0.50 per $1,000 of taxable value) be renewed for a period of four years, being 2027, 2028, 2029, AND 2030, inclusive for the purpose of providing operating funds to continue and enhance Mackinac County Community Action Agency’s Meals Programs and Mackinac County Community Action Agency’s Senior Services in Mackinac County, thereby raising in the first year (2027) an estimated $668,850
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote renews Mackinac County's 0.5-mill levy for 2027–2030 for the Community Action Agency's meals programs and senior services.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the renewal.
