Shall the previously voted increase in charter millage in the amount of one mill ($1.00 on each $1,000.00 of taxable value), reduced to 0.8761 mill ($.8761 on each $1,000.00 of taxable value) by the required millage rollbacks, be renewed in an amount not to exceed 0.8761 mill ($.8761 on each $1,000.00 of taxable value) and levied for a period of two (2) years, 2026 to 2027 inclusive, to be distributed to the Peter White Public Library for the purpose of providing library services to the residents of the Charter Township of Marquette? The estimated revenue the Township will collect in the first year, if the millage is approved and levied, is approximately $313,703.67.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote renews up to 0.8761 mill for 2026–2027, paid to the Peter White Public Library for library services to Marquette Charter Township residents.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the renewal.
