Proposition to authorize the Village of Estral Beach to extend the expiring millage and levy a property tax of 2 mills for a total of four ( 4) years for the purpose of maintaining and hardening the Village's flood control measures. Shall the Village of Estral Beach, Monroe County, levy a 2-mills property tax and place it on the property tax roll for years 2027, 2028, 2029 , and 2030, which will raise in the first year of such levy an estimated revenue of forty three thousand dollars ($43,000) for the purpose of maintaining and hardening (e.g., install steel walls) of the Village owned flood control measures .
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote levies 2 mills for 2027–2030 to maintain and harden village-owned flood control measures, such as steel walls; estimated $43,000 in the first year.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the flood control millage.
