Proposition to authorize the Village of Estral Beach to extend the expiring millage and levy a property tax of 2-mills for a total of four ( 4) years for the purpose of improving and maintaining Village berms, levees, ditch system, pumps, and other flood control measures as needed. Shall the Village of Estral Beach, Monroe County, Michigan, levy an additional 2-mills property tax and place it on the property tax roll for the years 2027, 2028, 2029 and 2030 which will raise in the first year of such levy an estimated revenue of forty three thousand dollars ($43,000) for the purpose of improving and maintaining Village berms, levees, ditch system, pumps, and other flood control measures as needed.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote levies an additional 2 mills for 2027–2030 for village berms, levees, ditches, pumps and other flood control measures; estimated $43,000 in the first year.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the supplemental flood control millage.
