The question, as printed on the ballot

Shall the Charter Township of Bloomfield, Oakland County, Michigan, borrow an amount not to exceed Fifty Million Dollars ($50,000,000) and issue its general obligation unlimited tax bonds in one or more series for the purpose of acquiring, constructing, furnishing and equipping Township Facilities, including (1) a Fire Station and (2) a Township Police Department building, and conducting all other site work as necessary or advisable, purchasing equipment, and appurtenances necessary or incidental to these projects?The maximum number of years each series of bonds may be outstanding, exclusive of refunding, is 20 years; the estimated millage that will be levied to pay the proposed bonds in the first year that the levy is authorized is 0.2350 mills (which is equal to $0.2350 per $1,000 of taxable value of real and personal property in the Township); and the estimated simple average annual millage that will be required to retire the bonds is 0.4380 mills.

A “Yes” vote means

A yes vote lets the township borrow up to $50,000,000 to build and equip a fire station and a police department building; estimated 0.2350 mill in the first year.

A “No” vote means

A no vote rejects the bond.
