The question, as printed on the ballot
Shall the Charter Township of Brandon be authorized to levy up to 3.9509 mills for a period of eight (8) years, 2027 through 2035, inclusive, to finance police protection services? This proposal, if passed, will renew the previously authorized millage adopted in November 2018, as rolled back by the Headlee Amendment, and expiring in December 2026. Approval of this proposal would permit a tax of up to $3.95 per $1,000.00 of taxable value on all taxable property in the township. It is estimated that this proposal, if adopted and levied, will result in authorization to collect up to $3,228,587 in the first year.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote renews a police protection tax of up to 3.9509 mills for eight years, 2027 through 2035, estimated to raise up to $3,228,587 in the first year.

A no vote rejects the renewal.
