The question, as printed on the ballot
Shall the tax limitation on the general ad valorem taxes within Mills Township imposed under Article IV (9) Section Six (6) of the Michigan Constitution be increased One (1.0000) Mill ($1.00 per $1000 of taxable value) for a period of Five (5) years, being 2026 through 2030 inclusive, for the purpose of Supporting the Parks and Recreation Maintenance and improvements; and shall the township levy such an increased in Millage for said purpose, thereby raising in the first year and estimated $140,810.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote approves a 1-mill tax increase for five years (2026–2030) for parks and recreation maintenance and improvements.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the tax.
