The question, as printed on the ballot
Shall Stannard Township impose an increase of up to 0.25 mills ($0.25 per $1,000.00 of taxable value) in the tax limitation imposed under Artice IX, Sec. 6, of the Michigan Constitution and levy it for four (4) years, 2027 through 2030 inclusive, for the purpose of supporting McMillan Township Library services, which 0.25 mills increase will raise an estimated $6,468.00 in the first year the millage is levied to be disbursed to McMillan Township, Ontonagon County.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote lets Stannard Township levy up to 0.25 mill for 2027–2030 to support McMillan Township Library services.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the millage.
