The question, as printed on the ballot
Shall the LeRoy Community Library, County of Osceola, Michigan, be authorized to levy annually a new additional millage in an amount not to exceed .70 mill ($0.70 per each $1,000 of taxable value) against all taxable property within the LeRoy Community Library district for a period of five (5) years, 2026 through 2030, inclusive, for the purpose of providing funds for all district library purposes authorized by law? The estimate of the revenue the LeRoy Community Library will collect if the millage is approved and levied by the LeRoy Community Library in the first year (2026) is approximately $105,000.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote lets the library levy a new tax of up to 0.7 mill for 5 years (2026-2030) for district library purposes.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the new library tax.
