Shall Richmond Township impose a renewal of up to 2 mills ($2.00 per $1,000.00 of taxable value) in the tax limitation imposed under Article IX, Section 6 of the Michigan Constitution and levy it for 4 years, 2026 through 2029 inclusive, to be allocated and placed in a special account for road construction and maintenance, which shall be allocated at the complete discretion of the Richmond Township Board. This 2-mill renewal will raise an estimated $160,604.63. in the first year the millage is levied?
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote renews the township's tax of up to 2 mills for 4 years (2026-2029) for road construction and maintenance.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the renewal.
