Confirming grant of an irrevocable Electric Franchise to Presque Isle Electric & Gas Co-op its successors and assigns, for the purpose of constructing, maintaining and operating an electric distribution system on, along, and across the highways, streets, alleys, bridges and other public places and to conduct a local non-exclusive electric distribution business in the Township of Rogers, Presque Isle County, Michigan for a period of thirty (30) years from September 15, 2025.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote confirms a 30-year, nonexclusive franchise letting Presque Isle Electric & Gas Co-op run its electric distribution system on public roads and places in the township.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects confirming the franchise.
