The question, as printed on the ballot

Shall Middlebury Township continue to levy three mills ($3.00 per $1,000.00) on taxable value of property located in the Township of Middlebury, Shiawassee County, Michigan, for five years beginning with the 2026 tax levy year and running through the 2030 tax levy year (inclusive), which will raise in the first year of such levy an estimated revenue of $186,423.00 to be used exclusively for all purposes authorized by law for emergency services including a fire department, rescue services, and ambulance service? If approved, this millage will be a consolidation and renewal of two previously authorized millages.

A “Yes” vote means

A yes vote continues a 3-mill township tax for 2026–2030 for fire, rescue and ambulance services, combining and renewing two existing millages.

A “No” vote means

A no vote rejects the renewal.
