The millage shall be levied for two years beginning with the 2027 tax levy year and running through the 2029 tax year (inclusive). If approved, the millage will raise, in the first year of such levy, an estimated revenue of $170,000 to provide funding to the City of Owosso Parks and Recreation Commission. Revenue will be used to maintain, improve, and upgrade parks within the City of Owosso. If approved and levied in full, a portion of such millage may be subject to capture by the Owosso Downtown Development Authority and Owosso Brownfield Redevelopment Authority.
