The question, as printed on the ballot
Shall the previously approved one mil ($1.00 per $1,000 of taxable value) increase in the 15-mil tax limitation imposed under Article IX Section 6 of the Michigan constitution of general ad valorem taxes within Burtchville Township be renewed for the 10-year period of 2027 through 2036 inclusive, for the purpose of providing funds for the improvement and maintenance of the Burtchville Township road system thereby raising in the first year an estimated $195,656.58.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote renews a 1-mill Burtchville Township property tax for 2027–2036 to improve and maintain township roads.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the road millage renewal.
