The question, as printed on the ballot
Shall the Township of Dayton be authorized to levy a millage of one (1) mill ($1.00 per $1,000 of taxable value of real property) for a period of three (3) years, 2027 to 2029 inclusive, for the purpose of maintaining and improving roads in the Township? If the millage is levied, the estimated revenue that will be collected in the first year from the levy in 2027 will be $74,000.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote authorizes a 1-mill township tax for 2027–2029 to maintain and improve roads.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the millage.
