Shall Tuscola Township impose an increase of up to 1 mill ($1.00 per $1,000 of taxable value) in the tax limitation imposed under Article IX, Sec. 6 of the Michigan Constitution and levy it for four (4) years, 2026 through 2029, inclusive, for the purpose of local road repairs, upgrades, construction, improvement, dust control, and maintenance purposes, which 1 mill increase will raise an estimated $109,600 in the first year the millage is levied?
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote authorizes a new township tax of up to 1 mill for 2026–2029 for local road repair, construction, dust control and maintenance.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the new millage.
