The question, as printed on the ballot
To permit the sale of mixed beverages in hotels, restaurants, private clubs, community theatres, and convention centers and the "on-premises" and "off-premises" sale of malt beverages and unfortified wine in qualified establishments.
A “Yes” vote means
Allows mixed drinks in qualified hotels, restaurants, private clubs, community theatres and convention centers countywide, plus beer and wine sales in qualified establishments.
A “No” vote means
Mixed beverage sales are not approved countywide; they stay legal only in towns that have already approved them.
Called by the Columbus County Board of Commissioners' April 20, 2026 resolution; the wording is set by G.S. 18B-602(h). Under G.S. 18B-603(d), approval lets the state ABC Commission issue mixed beverage permits in the county.
