The question, as printed on the ballot
To permit the sale of mixed beverages in hotels, restaurants, private clubs, community theatres, and convention centers and the "on-premises" and "off-premises" sale of malt beverages and unfortified wine in qualified establishments.
A “Yes” vote means
Permits mixed drinks in qualified hotels, restaurants, private clubs, community theatres and convention centers, plus on- and off-premises beer and unfortified wine sales, in Perquimans County.
A “No” vote means
Mixed-drink sales, and the beer and unfortified wine sales named on the ballot, would not be authorized in the county by this election.
The Perquimans County Board of Commissioners voted on July 6, 2026 to place this question and the ABC store question on the ballot, using wording provided by the county attorney. Voters also approved a Perquimans County mixed beverage election in November 2024 (For 5,664, Against 1,758, State Board results).
