The question, as printed on the ballot
To permit the sale of mixed beverages in hotels, restaurants, private clubs, community theatres, and convention centers and the "on-premises" and "off-premises" sale of malt beverages and unfortified wine in qualified establishments.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote permits mixed beverage sales in hotels, restaurants, private clubs, community theatres and convention centers, and malt beverage and unfortified wine sales in qualified establishments.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the proposal; this election would not authorize these alcoholic beverage sales in Pollocksville.
The question is the standard wording state law sets for a mixed beverage election (G.S. 18B-602(h)). Pollocksville voters also vote on the separate Jones County mixed beverage question; a countywide vote in favor would make these sales lawful throughout the county, including the town (G.S. 18B-604(b)).
