Shall a charter commission be elected to study the charter of and to consider a new charter or improvements in the present charter and to make recommendations thereon?
A “Yes” vote means
A five-member charter commission is created, made up of the five top vote-getters in the commission election, to study the township's form of government and recommend any changes.
A “No” vote means
No charter commission is created, and Hopewell Township's current township committee form of government is not studied by one.
